Omar is a human resource management professional specialized in employer immigration. He is both a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) Candidate, and a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). He was recently recognized as one of Atlantic Canada’s 2020 Most Inspiring Immigrants for his work on immigration with the Cape Breton Partnership (CBP).
During his time as the Labour Market Development & Immigration Officer at CBP, Omar’s writing on labour and immigration provided detailed insight to key stakeholders on news and trends of importance. His writing grew an audience, and this journal will be the platform for Omar to continue writing and sharing relevant news and trends on labour and immigration.
Omar is now the Immigration & International Recruitment Consultant with Health Association Nova Scotia as part of a team targeting the shortages in the continuing care sector.
